Twas a week before Chrismas

Hello again,

Well, it's a week before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse......

Yes, well that is not the only thing not stirring. My to do list has continued to grow and grow with each day. You would think, since I have been working on things since summer that my list would shrink, but no, it has not. Oh well.

We had a setback in our family this past week. My dh's mother passed away unexpedly and it was a shock for the whole family. It just won't be the same without her.

I pass my thanks to Barb for her help with teaching Chef Dad how to knit. With the events of the last week, it was really good of her to do this. Thanks Barb!

I have finished the sets for my 3 girls. They are each getting fingerless gloves (gauntlets), leg warmers and hats. Quite an accomplishment if I do say so myself. I will post pictures when the girls have opened the boxes and tried them on.

I knitted a scarf for a friend the other day, two shades of purple with cool fringe on each end! Way cool!! Hope she likes it!

Today is the office party for my dh. This yearly event is usually fun and the kids really enjoy it. I will be knitting again this year. Hummmm I think I see a trend starting!! I made a batch of peppermint bark this morning. It is for the party if I don't eat it all myself...one of my favs!

Well my family dinner will be on Christmas Eve this year, then I am planning on attending midnight mass. I have always loved mass at midnight but haven't gone in several years, I would really love to begin attending this year. I have much to be thankful for and pray for.

I have finished my Ethics class for the semmester. I took my final last week. I will hopefully get my grade this week. I am hoping for a B. I have only one class for next semmester. I am planning on moving in the summer so I need to get some money in the bank...so next semmester, I am taking modern History. I am looking forward to this class.

That is about it for now. Have a great week.

Hugs,
Debi :)
